Today I go to Hillsboro, Oregon visit my friend. Her husband was busy renovated his house. She told me that her hubby actually fixing the toilet basin. After That I “kepo” take a look his toilet, wow! It was so nice and beautiful. I ask her husband how much for the faucet, he said USD 400. Again I was surprised so expensive. Today go to company, after take my lunch and go back to company. My colleagues tell me want to follow him or not go eat ice-creams. I say sure but in my heart I said weather so cold still take ice-creams must be crazy. But I also “tam chiak” than follow them go lo. When I reach the cafeteria, I see a lot of people actually stand by and I saw Baskin-Robbins store. I ask my friend did our cafeteria also sell Baskin-Robbins Ice-creams. They said because of our company successfully achieve some breakthrough event right now awards all employee ice-creams. Wow! I’m right timing because I just in Santa Clara for 2 days trip and so lucky I can eat FOC ice-creams and some more is Baskin-Robbins eh. Really lucky I than “hio”, I go take 3 scoops lo….

My company Entrance at Santa Clara

Every times when I go to Santa Clara headquarters, always is winter or summer. This round is autumn and when I walk to the entrance I found that the wall full of natural color. Red, Yellow and green color just like our traffic light and so beautiful. I sure will take the picture and keep inside my memory. Hope that I can go again next year and continue shopping with my wife. ^^

My colleague is Vietnamese. During tea break or when his free he will always bring me to the shop for the drinks. Would like to share with all of you this drink name called “Avocado” drinks. Kids Today

Nowadays, can be said mostly all having a computer and internet at home. And from my observation, kids today loves to play online game and chatting with friends online. I think parents should play a very important roles to make sure their kids (those still under age) are not enter to the adult personals sites to learn all those “unnecessary” things. The best is parents should not allow the kids to have his or her own Personals computer located inside their room but to place the computer in living room so that parents can keep an eye on them. What do you think?

Breakfast at US Airport

Oct 9 2008 my happy day because is my time go back to Malaysia. Due to my flight at morning 11am, I need to rush for check in at 9:30am so I go out from hotel at 7:30am because from my hotel to Portland airport about 45 min drive. After passing the security gate, start to find the restaurant for my breakfast. Here is my last day at US breakfast and not expensive about USD 10. Looks yummy right?

Home Sweet Home

When I was in US, I visited my friend’s house. He is a businessman and he owned a very huge land. Just imagine he can even build his own factory plant in his land besides he has a few houses in that land too. All his houses are “custom home” as he wanted his dream houses all fits to his and his family every way. He offered me a stayed at his guest house for a night. That guest house is even bigger than my house in Penang...hah! And he and his family members is lived in the biggest house that with the Schumacher Homes Louisiana design. Wow, the interior design is really gorgeous. Too bad, I forget to snap any photo to show you all. If next time I got chances to visit him again, I will make sure myself to snap a few photos.

My shopping “kaki” (which is my Penang friend who also has his business trip to US) ask me go for dinner at Portland. It took us about 45 min only reach the restaurant but luckily the sushi was nice and price not too bad. When go to wash room pass by their walkway, I found that they have this beautiful pictures hanging on the wall. Just would like to share with all of you.

Penang Curry



Before go back to Malaysia, my shopping “Kaki” ask me go lunch together. This restaurant has very nice environment and statue. I have taken some picture and our food as well. I like the Penang Curry” very much and very delicious. My friend orders the noodle with peanut source. Frankly speaking I actually don’t like to take noodle or rice with peanut butter.

Different Area Code

The different between USA Phones Numbers and Malaysia Phone numbers are area code and privacy. Malaysia using 2 digits but US used 3 digits. If you call from foreigner country or internet call, their house will not appear phone number and the house owner before pickup your phone the system will ask the house owner to accept the call by identify the caller. The callers have to say their name only system will get thru or pass thru your call to your friends/relative house. How safe it is compare to Malaysia phone service and avoid those spam call. Hope that Malaysia Telekom will implement such a good system.

Ross at Portland

First time I see this Ross supermarket in town. The design was different and so high tech. The price looks same and not so expensive as well. Luckily we go at night easy to find parking otherwise I can think of the limited of parking space near the town.

My Neighbour Siamese Cat

I’d like to continue talks about my neighbour’s Siamese cat. She told me that she even well-prepared with all those flea control products to get rid of that pesky annoyance, fleas that will cause a health-threatening problem to her beloved cat.

I feel relief after listen to what she said, as least she has the preventative measures taken and hopefully that “unwelcome guests” will not spread to my house one day!
